Injured on the Job?
Fiamo Occupational Medicine defines primary injury care as treating non-emergency injuries that are sustained at work. Such injuries include: lacerations, sprains, closed fractures, as well as back and eye injuries. We also provide medical surveillance for exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.

Our clinic also manages occupational diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis and degenerative disc disease.

Question the patient to learn how the injury occurred, the medical history of the individual and other important information.

Counsel the patient on next steps and what to expect, in accordance with our treatment philosophy that encourages continued activity, modified duty and early return-to-work.

Direct the patient to return to work.
